This Program and it's staff has changed our lives forever. After a divorce my daughter had many emotional problems and would act out even violently at times. It just got worse and worse. I was afraid to take my daughter out of the house at times because I thought she might hurt one of the other kids. My life could have went in an entirely different direction if not for them. Now my daughter is in a very respected Private College on the deans list. Honestly it would have been impossible for that to happen otherwise.

This is not a school with anything to recommend it.  It is unfortuante for any child to attend.  The problems are numerous:  older children who are bright are made to do things below their ability level; teachers who have not earned appropriate degrees have been hired; there has been a history of teachers verbally and emotionally abusing children; parents are not informed of decisions regarding their child(ren); parents are not given adequate information; misdiagnoses; terrible program for severely autistic children; parents and former students no longer involved with Clearview are not given copies of records and information; damaging information has in some cases been sent to subsequent schools; the program itself is woefully inadequate.  5 hours for older children is little more than a nursery school program and all on the taxpayers' dime!  To make a bad thing even worse, the director is inordinately involved in the lives of the kids to an extreme degree and pretends to have the answers for the problem behaviors when in fact that is often just not the case.  Brighter kids are ashamed of Clearview and want nothing to do with it and feel it is a source of deep stigma.
