John F Kennedy High School

lenia fernandez: well i graduated and became a physical education and health education teacher the returned to school to become a vet tech then became a firefighter at east farmingdale station 2 in long island. I had very stric parents this school  was difficult to get into when i went. I was not the best student but as you can see they did their job. my brother is also an alumni from JFK and he is in medical school in the dominican republic. I was not aware of the school closing down, I am very sad by the news. I have very fond memories, my teachers the principal security janitors and guidance counsellors where very good at their job. I never had any conflicts in the school, I always felt safe and they gave me so much love because they knew we tried hard despite the odds. Im very sad about the news.
