PS 182 Elementary School Reviews
This school has great teachers. The wealth of experience and passion to be found heading the classrooms is nothing short of inspiring. However, these amazing teachers are not supported by the administration. You can see this in the downcast eyes and averted glances when you walk down the halls.
It is unfortunate because this school has incredible teachers, concerned and active parents and happens to be the only school in District 8 that houses a Gifted and Talented program.
Contrary to the overall theme of this review t's not all doom and gloom but be prepared to advocate and be an active participant in your child's education if you're considering this school.
this school may have some rude teachers but they make make sure my i pass my class
THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS SCHOOL IS THAT THERE IS A GIFTED AND TALENTED PROGRAM THAT STARTS AT KINDERGARTEN AND GOES THROUGH 5TH GRADE
I think the school is excellent. My daughter started in that school since 2nd grade and all the teachers have done a fantastic job in making sure she is getting all her school work done. They called me if I need it to know any issues that will affect my daughters progress report. I enjoy all the winter, spring and summer singing and dancing shows. The main office staff are always willing to answer any questions or concern. I hope that the cutting of funds does not affect the school spirit. As my daughter moves on to Junior Height I will be forever thankful for the education she received the first years of her life. Thanks to the Principal and Vice Principal for a Job well done.
