My daughter went to Leif Ericson Day School and I am always happy to recommend it to anyone who is interested in finding a good school for their child. This is a small school so students don't get lost in the crowd. I noticed that the principal knows each child by name and is a dedicated and caring professional. That carries over to the whole school. There is an incredible music dept there and kids learn to play instruments, sing and do public speaking. The computer dept is amazing too. Students do very sophisticated projects like claymation and learning to make and program lego robot cars. The Science teacher provides hands on experiments and investigations that teach kids to think and observe. My daughter came to really love Science, and I have to say she was very well prepared for High School.

Zoe: As a student who attended preschool through 8th grade, I was very pleased with my education and social environment. There was absolutely no bullying tolerated, and the teachers really care about how the students are both as people and as students. I was very well prepared for high school and I would love to send any future children there

The best place for my kids! Both of my kids have been attending LEDS since they were in preschool (my oldest is in 5th grade). The teachers, aides, principal and administrative staff members are caring and wonderful with children. My kids are happy (they love this school) and in a loving, safe environment. You will not find another school that promotes the overall well being of a child, in addition to an excellent education.
