PS 233 Langston Hughes School Reviews
Unfortunately the school along with the staff has no professionalism when dealing with the children. It is a circus in the school. When you have no structure, under staff, and no activities to engage in with the different grades and age groups the children will seek in horse playing that leads to other behavior out burst that is look at as misbehaving, rough play, busy and even fighting. The staff needs serious training and The Board Of Education needs to come out and send someone to evaluate the nonsense that is going on with these children. I am disgusted with the school. i had fun at ps233 i loved how the teachers and students got along like a family. As ms. seals use to say this is your home away from home so we should treat ps233 like it. So we did and i will never forget that school now my little sister is getting ready for elementary school and she is going to ps233 , i would not have it any other way. She will learn the basics and it will show her how to love and care for everyone and she will receive a great education. I know for a fact this school will do that for her and other children.
I'm glad you shared that you were a gifted student for many years. That's encouraging to me because, when I hear something positive about one's determination, it encourages me to continue to press forward.
I think PS 233 Langston Hughes school is very good. That is where I went to elementry school and I was in the gifted program call S.O.A.R for five years and I was in the other gifted program called Javits for two years. While at PS 233 I met a lot of good and positive role models. I made a lot of good friends and had a good education there. I know that is true because I ended up going to philippa schuler middle school for the gifted and talented. Also my test scores were one of the highest scores in NYC. I had an opportunity to go to Hunter College school and finish school by the eleventh grade but I passed on it because I wanted to graduate with my friends and I didn't want to start a new school. So you should send your kids to PS 233 so that they get get a good education.
