Chosen: I went to P.S. 299 during a difficult time in my childhood. I lost my father in 2nd grade and my wonderful teacher Mr. Norman handled it soooo well. When I returned to school even my "arch nemesis" and childhood enemy gave me a hug and said he was praying for me. My Grandmother taught there for many years and I am now planning to enroll my children now that I am back in Brooklyn.

mark: I went to this school. This school was excellent back then. I graduated in about 1969. I did well here and it was one of the best schools i have been too. most of my adult life i have been so proud of my record here. 1-1,2-2,3-2,4-2,5-2,6-2, from 299 i went to Willoughby Jr High 7-A1, then things got tough but because of my solid foundation from 299 I did o:k,
