Seven Bridges Middle School
seven bridges is THE best school ever. Not only does it have state of the art technologies but the best teachers i have ever had. This school also has the most beautiful performing arts stage. COmpanies all over Westchester use our beautiful stage.

I think 7B is da bomb and it is awesome because i really had loads of fun it and the treaches were gr8t especially my eight grade espanol teacher she was hillarioes and i mean even more hillariouse then Tina Fay immating Sarah Palen on SNL.

What is it?
The New York State Assessments are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards. The tests are also used to evaluate schools and determine each school's accountability status.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students in grades 3 through 8 are assessed in English language arts and math, in grades 4 and 8 in science, and in grades 5 and 8 in social studies.

Students receive a score of level 1 through level 4. The goal is for 90% of students to score at or above level 3, the level of proficiency.

What is it?
The New York State Regents Examinations are a series of subject specific tests that measure a student's level of proficiency in each of the subject areas tested.
Which Grades and Subjects?
High school students must pass at least five tests in the following subjects: English language arts, math, global history and geography, US history and government, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics and foreign language.
How is it Scored?
Every New York high school student must pass (score a 65 or above) at least five Regents examinations to receive a high school diploma. The goal is for all students to pass the tests.
