What is it?
The New York State Assessments are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards. The tests are also used to evaluate schools and determine each school's accountability status.

KRYSTLE WARD: THIS SCHOOL IS GREAT,I WENT HERE AS A LITTLE GIRL I AM NOW 26 YEARS OLD. TEACHERS ARE EXCELLENT, I REMEMBER THEM SOME WHERE STRIKE BUT THERE WERE SOME THAT WILL COMFORT YOU AND HELP YOU, ME AND NY BROTHERS WENT TO THIS SCHOOL, AND THE SCHOOL PLAYGROUND IS HUGE. I LOVE IT.. SOEMTIMES I SIT IN THE PARK AND I COULD HAVE FASH BACKS LIKE CRAZY... I REMEMBER MISS MISSICK, MRS. RODNEY PURCELL, MRS. CADOGAN, MR. STOKES, AND MRS. PILATO AND ALSO MR. IRIZZARY. I HAVE GOOD MEMORIES NOT TOO MANY BAD ONES,THATS WHAT I CAN REMEMBER OVERALL IN SCALE OF 1 TO 10 I GIVE THIS SCHOOL A 10+ .
