Hartford Central School Reviews
Hartford has gone downhill when it comes to not only it's academic program but it's students conduct as well. Rules are set into place for a reason, but Hartford does not abide by them. The students are VERY disrespectful to not only their peers but to adults too. Discipline is inconsistent. A lot of the teachers/adults don't enforce any of the disciplinary infractions. Students ran the school. Teachers allow students to go off course in their classroom and be disruptive without any consequences. The principals and superintendent have their heads beneath a rock and pretend that the school is "normal" and they see any problems. If they don't see it, they will listen to a "favorite" student and believe what they say. After all, they WOULDN'T lie..... The school tends to feel that they can do anything they want whether parents approve or not. They don't feel that they're accountable to anyone, not even the Board of Education. If you weren't born in Hartford, you're an outsider even if you lived there almost your entire life. There is a click at the school and if you're not in one, you're an outsider.
