St Nicholas of Tolentine School

I had two of my children in this school 2years ago. After one graduated my husband and I decided to pull our youngest out. The school has been plagued with 2 sexual abuse scandals that they were and are reluctant to discuss. One with a former clergy and the other one  happened at a school photo session that was not supervised. Financially the school has been struggling with rising cost that greatly affected the quality of education at the school. A few times the boiler was not working and the children were subjected to staying all day in the cold school. The parents were not notified. The office staff can be cold and down right rude when issues are brought up. I only noticed a few teachers who went above and beyond the conventional studies. Most who have been there for many years are burnt out ad a bit jaded. Very little one on one time from the teacher to the parent was given or encouraged. Overall I thing this school has passed it's prime and is just hanging on. Academically and spiritually speaking I think most parents can and should do better to find a school that can accomodate both needs.
