Tecumseh Elementary School

Ronna L.: There are many positive qualities about this school, but a few stand out:
1.  Students are consistently taught to be respectful & tolerant of
     others.
     The older children are encouraged to help the younger ones (bus
     helpers, reading buddies, etc.)
     Any negative issues between students is resolved promptly and
     appropriately (no blanket harsh punishments -- and, children are
     encouraged to resolve conflicts / make amends with each other).
2.  Parents and caregivers are WELCOME!
     It is nice that we can help in the classroom or even join the
     children for lunch.
     This makes for an all around positive Tecumseh FAMILY
     experience.
3.  Teachers & staff care.
     It is a battle these days...having to work with budget
     constraints & state testing mandates...but, in the end, the
     Tecumseh staff cares about doing what they can to help the
     student and the family.

It will be a sad day when all my children have left Tecumseh.
It is a beautiful school, filled with wonderful people.
