PS 128 Juniper Valley School

S. Papaccio: This is one incredible school!  This school, academically, 1st rate.  The principal, Mr. John Lavelle, the parent coordinator, Melissa Phillips and every single one of the faculty and staff at both the main building and the Annex are wonderful.  Communication is very important to everyone here and they all know each of the kids by name.  It is like family.  You are always kept up-to-date with regards to your child's progress and it feels good to know that.  I am lucky that my kids go here.  

The only unfortunate this is that this school get bare bones funding so there are no sports teams, extracurricular activity or gymnasium.  However, the good news -- the DOE is building a new, state of the art building for P.S. 128 and they will be advancing the grade level to Eighth grade so we will soon have all the amenities and extras that we so crave!   And your child can now go to the school from Pre-K through 8th.
