Traphagen School

I graduated  the year that the new Traphagen was opened in 1969. I can still remember them tearing down the old Traphagen School that had the large parking lot and the gravel. I remember Mr. Carl J. Neufelt being the Principal of the old school.
To the First Graduating Class of the new school it was amazing to see how "new" the school was with its sliding doors, and carpeting and the big closets and phones in each class room. Our class did the play "Guys and Dolls" that year. I still remember that and the songs that we sang for Graduation. Those days are gone but the memories are still there in my heart forever. I still remember some of my teachers I had.
I left in 1971 and have been back only one time since. I wonder what everyone is doing and think of those good days. I wish I could find an old yearbook from 1969 and look through it.
