History
The School for Young Performers is a New York State registered K-12 private school. The school was established in 1995 and designed for students with careers in the performing arts, modeling or athletics as well as private families. SYP's founders and administrators have been providing a quality academic alternative in on-location settings for over 30 years. Moreover, the SYP program brings exclusive and exemplary education directly to its students—anywhere and anytime!

The School for Young Performers is committed to providing solutions for the scholastic challenges facing students whose lifestyles or careers are incompatible with the traditional classroom construct.

SYP was founded with the following principles:
-All students should receive an exceptional education administered by skilled & dedicated teachers.
-All students should have access to an individualized and rigorous college preparatory track.
-Families should not have to choose between the pursuit of personal or professional aspirations and the opportunity for scholarly academic achievement.
