Gillen Brew School

The Gillen Brewer School has been a godsend for our son.  He entered the school with many difficulties including academic, sensory and behavioral.  After attending the school for 6 years, he is ready to move on to middle school.  Gillen Brewer provided him with occupational therapy, counseling, and special education.  He is now reading age appropriate books, studying mathematics, social studies and science as well as the arts.  He has strategies, which he uses, to control his behavior and no longer needs occupational therapy.  The staff, teachers and therapists are caring and hard working.  The love they feel for my son is obvious and the pride they have with his progress is obvious as well.  Most of all, my son is proud of his accomplishments.  I would highly recommend Gillen Brewer for any child with a learning disability.  The school is located in a beautiful new building, close to a large facility with many activities including swimming in the summer.
