i attended leadership back in '01. " yes i was there for the attacks". I have been trying to contact any of my former classmates. It be nice to see how everyone's doing 10 yrs later. you all know who you are...
I graduated from Leadership and Public Service in 2008. My four years there were wonderful, which would be hard to say for others. Most of the students are obnoxious but what else do you expect ? ... its a public school. I cant complain about the teachers, they did their job and were available when needed. I went into HS knowing that i wanted to go to college. I believe you take what you are given and make the best out of it. That's exactly what i did, with the support from my college adviser and other teachers i was able to attend Syracuse University. if you want to succeed and have a good head on your shoulder the help is available. The extra curricular programs available are great. The only thing i do complain about is that i felt like i wasn't really prepared for college. i spoke to the current principal there and was told they're fixing that problem. Overall, i believe its a good school. If you want it easy and don't like to work and is easily influenced by others behavior then maybe this is not the school for you.
I started school here back in 2004 and made it all the way to 2008 graduation. I truly wish that I would have went to any other school but this one. I wasn't a trouble maker or anything but their sure were lots of loud and obnoxious people who made me want to stay home and avoid school. Anyway some of the teachers I had were great but others didn't even know your name (unless your one of the trouble makers of course!) also the few good teachers I had left the school during the time I was attending so I don't even want to imagine how the school is now!
All throughout high school I didn't think about college, the school only mentioned college during the last months of senior year so they tried to hurry us into the schools we could be accepted to. Well, I'm not going to blame the school for my academic failure since it's my fault for not going but if your reading this and are thinking about going or are forced to go due to bad grades, all I have to say is GO GO GO AWAY. Please don't go here and if you are going to this school please do good your first year and then transfer OUT!
