Manhattan Comprehensive Night and Day High School Reviews
I attended this school for my last year of high school and was the schools valedictorian. The school offered me the opportunity to complete my last year of high school and obtain a high school diploma rather than a GED. The teachers were wonderful however the guidance counseling I received (maybe because from what I understood the program was relatively new) was not what I expected. I never received any educational counseling as far as what my future goals were (no college counseling or advice such as even taking the SATs). I was actually told from someone at the school that because I never took the SATs that I would never be able to enter a university or college (at the time I wanted to attend NYU). As naïve as I was, I didn't even know what an SAT was so didn't even know that I could of still taken an SAT later on or prepared for it on my own. I am sure that this has changed since I graduated in the 90's. I would say to future students (those who wish to go to college) to be proactive and get all the information you need from your guidance counselor or another professional at the school. Maybe I was too complacent...........Best of luck!
I went there and finished in 1995 and it was a great experience for me. I met awsome teachers, and students. I would highly recommend the school to anyone. I give the school 5 stars.
i personaly think that this school would be best for me. just by reading information about this school i think it would be just right. i am a student coming from louis d. branies high school who would love to tranfer to manhattan comprehensive night and day high school.i think this school takes up everything that i need referring to graduation, tutoring, regents study classes, and even college and etc. i am not in this school as of yet but i will be in september and i highly recommend this school to any student in need of help.
From the treatment my niece was given, ALL THUMBS UP TO MANHATTAN Comprehensive Night and Day Hight School. MY NIECE IS A BRIGHT GIRL,but was not afforded, in more ways than money, the opportunity to be exposed to necessary tools to grow academically, and the little private All girls HS let her slip through the cracks. She was given another chance to build herself, her life choices, and get the help she needs. This School's staff and mission statement shine. MANHATTAN COMPREHENSIVE -YOU have given dignity back to a student who was robbed of it. She slipped through the cracks and I believe this school will give us a day to celebrate my nieces graduation and FUTURE GOALS FOR LEARNING. A wholehearted Thank you from our entire family.
Well, (I) myself recognize MCNDHS as one the most outstanding HIGH SCHool In NYC, because of its diversty in acceptance students from all the 5 continents. And provides struggle students with help that they need in acheveing their goals including advisors and tutors.... MCNDHS!!! CDI!!! YOU are the best keep the "E" works... Thanks you!!!!!
I think this school can be for me. I say this because during the day most children don't learn what the supposed to. Howver, during the night theres more space and less children so I get what needs to be done in the time that I'm given.
