PS 40 Augustus Street Gardens Elementary School

Laura L: PS 40 is our local school--our eldest daughter will start there next September. They have a great parent coordinator. We're headed there for a tour today and got a really quick response when requesting the tour. The NYC public school landscape can be challenging to navigate so we love the informative website. Lots of the neighborhood parents we know chose the school over talented and gifted programs elsewhere in the district. Parent involvement is high and makes all the difference.
