What is it?
The New York State Assessments are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards. The tests are also used to evaluate schools and determine each school's accountability status.

PS 111 Adolph S Ochs School
PS 111 is a great school. My daughter loves her school and the teachers work hard for their students. Principal Medina is a caring Principal who knows every student. She listens to the parents and takes time to talk to parents and interacts with the students. She is not the type of Principal that remains locked in her office. She is proactive with the teachers, students and their families.

PS 111 Adolph S Ochs School
This is a community based school that welcomes diversity whole-heartedly. The staff are caring with the exception of some. The Middle School has alot of issues with students, who unfortunately graduate this school without any life skills or readiness for the real world, other than most likely cutting High School and graduating once they get there.
The really need do something with the grades 6-8, Im surpised its still open. Elementary is wonderful.
