Grover Cleveland High School Reviews
I graduated from Cleveland in January 1946. I have very fond memories of the School. We had a great teaching staff under Principal Dr. Tonsor. Some of my teachers were Mr. Kanfer, Mr. McDermott, Mrs. Dickman, Mr. Cardozo, Miss Light, Mr. Drew, Miss Longo, Mr. Driscoll. We had very high Scholastic standings then. It was a good School.
Wow, it saddens me to hear what is happening. I am a class graduate of 1974 with some of the Best teachers and faculty I ever had the pleasure of knowing. Good years there.
I think they should keep this school open. Give the principal Denise Vittor a chance to turn it around before you cut it up. It took her 4 years to turn around Queens Vocational High School give her the same chance here.
Grover Cleveland is a great High school. I graduated class of '09 and I just have to say that Teachers always push the students to do there best and are always helping out even if it involves teachers missing there lunch breaks or staying later after school Its a really good school its just up to you to make the best out of it and store as much information thats given to you as you can.
Grover Cleveland High is good school Mr. Garcia is a good coach who brought us to the playoffs. The school is a good school overall now because the teachers and coaches pushed me so hard to reach my potential. Now I am attending USC playing for the Trojans in football in my sophomore year.
