Moreine Fontenelle: PS 108 Q is an excellent school. As with any other school, it has its share of challenges. However, with the parents and teachers and volunteers working together, placing the needs of the children first, it continues to excel, and produce well rounded and proficient students. My son is currently in the second grade. I also volunteer my time each week in this school to help in anyway I can to relieve some of the mundane tasks and allow the teachers and staff to focus on the students. I have had different things needed addressing in the past, but with right attitude and a firm grasp on the issue and approaching the staff and teachers in a professional, equal and respectful manner, they were able to be addressed. You get out what you put in. It is an A+ school but if you are a complainer, pessismist or absent parent, your child will not be reaching the highest potential that he could. Come contributing to keep the school A+ and more. MF

Cheryl Burnett: Absolutely FANTASTIC! The school has very high expectations for the children. Our daughter has attended this school since she was in kindergarden, she is now in second grade. Her teacher is on point with regards to our concerns in our daughter's education. The school deals with real issues. Recently, our daughter's class campaigned against bullying. Another thing that I love about the school it the balance. The school has high expectations as I stated earlier, however the school gives the kids balance having family movie night, and family trips. I just can't imagine our daughter attending any other school. Thanks, PS 108q.

i went to ps 108q when i was younger and it was better then. my son goes there now and i think its the worst. he had problems in class with a classmate and i had to go up 3 times about the situation. you can never see the principal its like your not allowed to talk to her.they are suppose to go outside for lunch once a week and they never even get that it could be a beautiful day and they are stuck inside.graduation is being held in a classroom with 24 kids and 54 adults talk about a safety hazzard. and they always trying to get money out of parents but meanwhile i dont see one thing it is going to my son brings home books for a thing called book a night and there are no pages in the books.so you tell me what the money is used for

It is a very crowded school and the students do not get the attention the need from teachers.
My son complained of roaches in the school after almost eating one. I immediately transfered him to another school. The school does not have a higher education program.
The Pre-K program is the worst and difficult to get into and not enough teachers. I would recommend PS 155 and PS 96.

So far it seems to be a bit behind other schools. I have 3 children so Ive had my fair share of experiences with schools. My daughter had more homework and for that matter more advanced homework in Kindergarten than in first grade. I want my children in a different school, one thats up to par with my expectations. I also heard that ps 108 has cockroaches, that have been seen by my son and other students while eating lunch.
