Horrible school teachers could care less. Half my sons’ class can barely speak English and classes are overcrowded. Do not send your child to this school!

...[A dean] was mentioned in the news due to a horrific letter made crudely. He misspelled many words, and didn't get...approval of sending a memo home to student's families. It's sick. There ARE gangs, and there are lots of fights. The education is good, and only parts of it are, like LA, and SS, Sci and Foreign Language. Edwin Markham is the worst Intermediate school on Staten Island, other than IS 72.

i love the school is51. Its amazing . The teachers there are really good I think i really got a great education. People usually say that our school is bad that we have gangs, fights, problems but that is basically just fake. The assistant principals, deans, and guidance counelours are really helpful and looking to help you with what ever you need. Im not afraid to tell them whats going on in my life and tell them stuff thats happening with people.
