PS 69 Daniel D Tompkins School Reviews
The school is a wonderful school. Very organized and the staff is all about the children. Your child will grow and have much opportunities here. Also the school [name edited out by education.com monitor], is very nasty and rude to parents and is not so friendly.
I think PS69 is a good school. It was really fun.
i love the school its really fun to be with my friends and my teachers they are really nice i know almost all the aids they are nice if i was a teacher i would be in ps69 always hve fun if ur there have a good time and u have breakfast and lunch and u can go after school for lachkey or ancori hope u have a good time.
I love ps 69. My teacher is fabulous and I enjoy the activities that we do.Especially post office 69.This is the greatest school ever. I reccomend it to every kid in the world
Overall it is a good school; the staff offers good programs for the children and they are really friendly. However these are a little expensive and no sibling discount is given. They also need to be more culturally competent to better address the need of the growing minority of students going to the school.
I like the school a lot. They are doing a great job.
I must agree that the staff of PS 69 are very involved with every student, as it should be however the credit must go to the Principal Ms. Murphy who sets the tone of the school. My child went to another school before this where he aged out of his program - that was a waste of time and wish our kid was in PS 69 from the start. That Principal from PS 54 gave the impression that she hated children especially any that gave a slight challenge. The rest of the staff displayed the same poor attitude.
Overall PS 69 is a good school but they need more supervision in the cafeteria and school yard.
PS 69 is a wonderful school. Never have I ever before walked into a school where the principal knows every child by name! The school is always neat, both of my children love their principal, asst principals and their teachers. My daughter is in the second grade now and my son in kindergarten and every teacher either of them have had work hard to help the kids learn, understand and excel.
If I moved to another area of Staten Island and there was no bus service, I would make it a necessity to drive them to PS 69 daily.
This school is the best. Ms.Murphy is very nice! You can learn everything.
