St Martin De Porres Marianist School Reviews
St. Martin de Porres Marianist School is a unique Marianist School. I have four boys and all of them will graduate from SMMS. The students are prepared to be excellent in the ordinary. 14 out of 50 8th grade graduates have received academic scholarships to Catholic High Schools on Long Island based on their academic performance on the Catholic High School Entrance Exam.
I feel that this school is a major step up to the public school system. Sure, there is a cost associated with a private education, but the administration does it efficiently and effectively. Whereas, the public school system charges taxpayers twice as much with no real foundation being offered to the child. Invest in a school that will offer your child religious values as well as an all around education. "Two thumbs up" to the teachers and administrators at St Martin in Uniondale, NY.
Don't do it. You may hear good things from parents who have mediocre performing children and low or inaccurate expectations on what a solid academic education really looks like. Take it from me a teacher. It is really not worth you spending money to send your kid here. Research you options well. I'm telling you the open house is a farce. Ask for a tour during a regular school day and see what you really think. I know from personal experience.
