My autistic son started at CDD in 2002, after being in private special education preschools, and having home-based Early Intervention Services from Little Village. He has had an IEP since he was 6 months old. He started in BOCES and it was clear early on that he need a place that specialized in education and therapies for autistic children, specifically, besides just developmentally delayed. CDD has always had THE BEST therapists, and teachers consistently. My son went into the Residential Program in 2005, and CDD changed our lives forever!  He is happy and more independent than I ever thought possible. Even now, he seems to learn something new every day. It is the most caring, dedicated group of Professionals we have ever been blessed to have in our lives and our family will be eternally grateful.
