McGee's Crossroads Middle School
I love McGee's. I just recently moved away; but I would give my right arm to go back. They provided me with a lot of great oppertunities and created a lot of great achievements over the years.

The review above is completely untrue. My child attends this school. The teachers are rigorous and have high expectations. My son has homework EVERY night and projects sprinkled throughout. They have excellent electives, academic and nonacademic clubs, and had the highest 8th grade science EOG scores in 2010 out of all schools in Johnston County. The school recently received the National Schools to Watch award - only a handful of schools nationwide have received that. And, this year they started offering algebra in 7th grade instead of waiting until 8th. Sure, McGee's Crossroads Middle could be better than it is. But then again, that can be said of every school in the country.

This schools acadimics isnt great because I heard a lady there that worked with the school system pulled they're child out because it didnt prepare you for high school. Some of the teachers are great and some teachers arnt even there half the time. They dont care about what the children do .... they say if you have the assignment it is right they dont even check the answers which is really bad because that is what they are payed to do!!! they dont inforce the conduct except on "certain kids". They have let people do really bad things...that school has some ups but mostly downs. The staff dosent treat everyone fairly they rather keep the statis quo than to inforce the rules, they are pratcically they're friends instead of teachers which is not a good thing, they spend more time cutting up, not teaching the material, and going outside than they do teaching. It is not the best school to put your child in, If you have any other options that include good school i suggest you take them  because the teachers barely look at the students work and they never send home but maybe 1 or 2 assignments in 2 weeks some teachers dont even give any. and if they do they dont care if the children do it or not!!! They dont give students the education they need. They let them text in the middle of school during tests and so forth So i suggest this school takes control or dont put your children in it...
