About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. See Orange Charter School's test results to learn more about school performance.

Orange Charter School Reviews
We have had 4 grandkids at OCS for the last 3 years. We have found that the teachers, and staff are wonderful to work with, always available and when help is needed it is there for them. Two of them go on to high school this fall and then we will have 3 there (1 in K-5) and are looking forward to several more years with OCS. I love to volunteer in the elementary classes, it's a joy. It's like being with family.
