Leland Christian Academy Reviews
The teachers all hold degrees and certificates in teaching from pre k and up. The class sizes area are small and personal. My son has learned so much academic and about the lord. Unlike then other Christian schools my son is not in a class with 20 others and lost. His teacher knows him.... I love it when he sings religious songs at home and counts with gladness. A++
Goodness...it really does sadden me to read about some poor reviews! As a parent of a preschooler and an elementary student....I could not be happier!! Last year was good....but with all the awesome changes, along with our new adminstrator Mrs. Ragbir....this year has already blossomed! She is defintely a blessing to our school and a perfect fit for the position! Not only does she care so much for every one of the students, her heart for the Lord just amazes me! She and all the teachers make this school a place where my kids are sad when its the weekend and they can't go to school! They love it!
I would like to mention that Mr. Ragbir does have a degree in youth ministries! He is a fun and fantastic teacher...all the kids can't get enough of him!
And besides my kids attending this really great school, my family also attends the church. Pastor Dwight is a wonderful pastor. He is most certainly a lover of the Lord. His message every Sunday hits home. I highly recommend visiting our church!
Leland Christian Academy is an amazing school. The teachers and the administration work together to create the best environment for everyone involved. They recently were blessed with a new administrator, Tanda Ragbir, who was made for this job! She along with Kim Burch, the preschoool director, are going to take LCA to bigger and better places! The school was already top knotch in my book but, I am so exicted for what the future holds with these too women in charge! My kids have never been happier! They look forward to getting up and going to school. When my two year old is reciting Bible verses, I know they are in the right place! I would not have my babies any where else! God is the center of LCA!
Awesome atmosphere! Great loving and caring teachers and staff! My son his been going there for year now since he was 3 months old and will be continuing to attend for the years to come.
My child has attended LCA for 4 years now. He started there in Pre-K, and is now an elementary student. We love LCA and all of the staff. We are very pleased with the education and the structure he is receiving from LCA.
Wonderful school! Very loving environment and my daughter is learning so much! I would highly recommend this school to anyone!
This school is not what they say it is my Kid started schhol and did not connect with the teacher and all week was bad for her they had told some lies about me and the Administrator they is a hard person he does not care for the Parent are the childs welfare and yes I feel with school I don't feel the Chirstian in there at all and as I read about this commit from a teacher that work there I feel I was one of the parent that got the raw deal
My son has been going there for a yr now! He will be starting his second yr there in the 3 yr old class. He has been treated so well at that school. This school has been a true blessing for my family. He loves going there and runs to his classroom with excitment. If you are looking for a good preschool in leland go to this school.
The only thing Christian about this school is the fact that "Christian" is in the title. The communication between the administrator and employees as well as parents is very mistrued. Parents will be told one thing only to find out later that it was not the case. Parents are "classified" in certain groups as well as their children. Children are treated according to how the opinions of the administrator of the parents are felt. As a past employee I experienced over ratio with children for hours at a time. I have experienced hearing other teachers yell at children and even use unkind words (What is considered swearing) towards the children. I have seen teachers slam other children down out of frustration and have witnessed children being belittled by teachers. I have witnessed teachers gossiping about parents and also witnessed a children being mistreated due to the way the teacher felt about the parent. I experienced LCA when it was under the old administration and loved it. However with the new administration, I wouldn't dare put my child there. The only communication at this establishment is when the State comes in and they run to the classes informing teachers so that they can "FIX" what is "WRONG" at the time.
