Morehead City Primary
My daughter has been attending this school since Kindegarten and she is now in the 3rd grade. I truly do not like sounding negative or saying negative things, but I find this school barely adequate. I could go on and on about specific examples, but my main disagreements are the methods in which they attempt to teach students how to read. They use memorization type methods rather than phonics to put it very simple. Thank goodness I taught her my preferred manner in combination with theirs. Also, this is the first year she has brought home a real text book which is math. Most of her assignments in class and homework assignments were printed from various web sites.
