About This School
The second thing we do is academic placement testing. We do this to find the strengths and weaknesses of every student versus throwing into an already on-going class as most other schools do.
The third and very important thing that we do is offer small class sizes with 1 on 1 assistance and instruction.
And the fourth thing we do is weekly evaluation of an educational program using the NC state curriculum guidelines but, conforming those guidelines to the level and pace of the student.
When done properly, that spells student success.
In 2010, Stevens Prep Academy had 5 students for every full-time equivalent teacher. The North Carolina average is 15 students per full-time equivalent teacher.

Stevens Prep Academy Reviews
Without Stevens prep Academy and Dr. Stevens, my child would not be as happy and successful as he is now. It is too bad that all schools are not as structured and student accomodating as Stevens Prep Academy.
I would highly recommend this school to anyone with a mild disability or with no disability.
If only I was offered the opportunities Dr. Stevens offers when I was in school, I would have liked school a lot more than I did.
This is just such a positive place and my child actually learns. Years of what other private and public schools could not teach my son, Stevens Prep has taught. And my son has learned????!!!
I am so impressed with Dr. Stevens and Stevens Prep Academy!!
I can not think of any other place to educate my child!!!!!!
