Archdale-Trinity Middle School Reviews
Bullying a major issue
I was repeatedly bullied, and the administration did little to nothing to help. I was shoved into lockers, repeatedly verbally abused, and excluded on a daily basis, with no support from other classmates or teachers. "kids will be kids" and "are you sure that you are not just over-thinking/over-reacting to this?" is not how the administration should handle situations like these.
Although there is communication regarding school events, the communication between teachers and parents is minimal. In addition, the in school suspension seems to be over used. Classroom management training may help the staff reduce the number of students disciplined in this way. In addition, test scores fall below the state average. The feeder schools have good test scores. Attention needs to be given to this school so that the problem can be identified and resolved.
