Speas Elementary School Reviews
Excerpt of news story by Kim Underwood:
"In 2011, Speas was recognized as one of 200 SMART Showcase Schools in the country. According to SMART Systems, the Elite designation this year recognizes the staff at Speas for creating learning environments that increase student engagement and results and for their willingness to share their experiences with other educators wanting to learn more about the technology."
Our school has just been renervated. It looks marvelous. We have a new media center and cafeteria. The classrooms have new lighting and the hallways shine.
Our students are doing well in second grade and learning alot. Every student is doing their "BEST". That means Being respectful, Encouraging others, Striving to do their best, and Thinking before they act.
I am very proud of my students.
This school just had a new addition added and went through a renovation. Students are #1 at this school. The teachers put in a lot of hours to make sure they offer their students the best!
The teachers at this school truly care about the kids, and encourage them to do their best. I think the most important thing about a school is the teachers. The teachers here have been here for years, which tells you what kind of teachers they are: committed.
