Hatton Elementary School

The Principal and teachers at Hatton are doing a wonderful job in creating a pleasant atmosphere of learning, and coping well with a new situation.  The old building is being torn down and rebuilt.  It will take 2 years.  Meanwhile, during the 2011-2012 and 2012-2-13 school years, they are housed in an old middle school building.  Parents and the community are encouraged to participate, and the faculty are fantastic.  They are making an age appropriate atmosphere in this formerly "big kids' school."  Academics are a priority, and yet it is a fun place to be.  Everyone is working together to regain the "excellent" rating the school held previously.  Success is a sure thing for this great school and its children.
