Herman K Ankeney Middle School Reviews
My son started middle school in 2010 with much trepidation on my part. He is on an IEP for social language delays and this was his first year without being in the same school building as myself. His transition was by far the best experience I could have asked for thanks to the care and support of his teachers and speech therapist. If a bullying situation occurred, administrative staff handled it immediately and proactively. He excelled academically and socially. We just received his OAA scores for sixth grade and he was above the district average in math and reading (accelerated in math and advanced in reading). When asked at the end of the school year the best part of sixth grade, my son replied to the school counselor, "I made a lot of friends this year." I can't say enough positive things about Ankeney Middle School!
