What is it?

The OGT is an annual test used to assess a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.

Which Grades and Subjects?

Students in 10 and 11 are assessed in reading, writing, math, science and social studies. The OGT is a high school graduation requirement for public and charter schools.

How is it Scored?

Students are rated at one of five levels: advanced, accelerated, proficient,basic or limited. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level. Grade 11 scores represent both grade 10 and grade 11 students.

The ACT is a national college admissions test used to assess student performance in high school curriculum areas.

Which Grades and Subjects?

The ACT Composite score is an average of English, math, reading, and science scores. The scores reported are for 12th grade students who have taken the test in grades 10, 11 or 12.

ACT scores range from a low score of 1 to a high score of 36.

betty james: This school is awesome and the staff, they are just wonderful, patient and caring and very informative and on task. They are concerned about the well being and education of their students and I am so glad that my child had the opportunity to leave Cleveland schools once we moved and they made the transition so easy for me as well as my daughter.
