About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. V L T Academy Reviews
This school has a history of nepotism and unethical financial practices, as reported by various news sources. They were investigated multiple times by the Ohio Ethics Commission and have still not corrected the findings of that commission. As a former employee, I know the incredible ineptitude of the administration. The school is entirely chaotic. Students are out of control and teachers receive little support. The school is also plagued by negativity, which comes directly from the administration who blames the teachers for vast shortcomings in test scores while failing to recognize their own mistakes. Students receive a second-rate education and lack access to typical opportunities you would find at a public school. The cheaply constructed buildings themselves with their small, claustrophobic rooms contribute to a poor learning environment. I would never send my kids to this school. Anyone who does is setting their children up for failure.
i think that value learing teaching academy is a very good school but thats my point of value
