John Hay Campus High School Reviews
Who DOESN'T want to be a HORNET ?!!
This is my final year at John Hay School of Architecture and Design and honestly, I am so glad that I decided to go here. I wouldn't have chosen any other school. The teachers are great and actually care about you having at least a passing grade. The students all get along, everyone knows everyone. There are about 2 fights in a whole year, probably not even that. The are is safe and our security guards are of the top in the CMSD district. All you have to do is pay attention and raise your hand if you don't get something and you'll get it, so the classes aren't that hard once you really understand it or ask for help. There are so many sports you can do like basketball, volleyball, softball/baseball, football, tennis, chess, bowling, track , and we are even trying to get a rowing team. We have multiple organizations and clubs such as poetry, environmental, yearbook committee, A.C.E Mentoring program (architecture, construction, & engineering), National honors society and so much more. John Hay is a great high school for people that don't mind being successful. We strive for greatness, and greatness is what we achieve. I absolutely love being a Hornet. !!!! Class of 2014 :)
John Hay I can say is a one of a kind school. It's college prep meaning it already prepares us for college, it's an honors school so if you were to be elsewhere trying to get a job or entering a college, going to John Hay would look good on your record. That's why my mom chose this school for me
John Hay is an excellent school if you or your child want an extra push. The staff there really cares and in the Early College department they really prepare you for college.
