Joseph M Gallagher School Reviews
Joseph M. Gallagher is a very diverse school. Our school has many cultures and students with special needs; which presents us (the staff) with the challenge to meet the needs of each. Our teaching staff is dedicated to the ultimate goal of no student left behind. I work with special needs students. I also am a former student of West Jr. High (now known as JMG).
Joseph M Gallagher is a relatively good school for an inner city Cleveland school. The school has faced many problems with not meeting state target score goals, missing by very slim numbers. The school has all the newcomers (students from Somalia and other war torn countries) to the city of Cleveland. The teachers work very hard to do everything they can to help these students who are faced with. You must pass the tests within 6 months of arrival. I have seen many wonderful things happen in this school from the dedicated staff and am proud to be one of them. I teach the medically fragile multihandicap unit.
