About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. Premier Academy of Ohio Reviews
I have to say that good things are happening at Premier this year! The teachers have much more control in the classrooms and my daughter is actually talking about school in a good way. I like the new teachers and am happy for the ones who stayed. Keep up the good work.
Do NOT send your child to this school! Currently, there is no principal overseeing the school. He decided to quit - went on spring break and didn't come back. The "security" at the school is a joke. A freshman reported a student brought a gun to school. The administration accused her of making up stories even though the gun had been seen by several other students. The same student who brought the gun, threatened to blow up the school in a very specific time frame in May. This was reported to a teacher, who laughed in the face of the student reporting it. This was reported to the "security" officer who mocked the child reporting the threat, and called her stupid. A week later, the school was in the news because the child who brought the gun to school and threatened to blow up the building had finally been removed from the school! This place is a tragedy waiting to happen. Do not put your child in harm's way by sending them to this school.

IF ANYTHING I DO RECCOMIND IT TO ANYONE THATS ABOUT THERE EDUCATION OR TO ANY PARENT WHO WANTS THERE CHILD TO GET A GOOD EDUCATION.
I just graduated from Premier Academy in 2011. I really loved this school it was like my second family. When attending Premier students learn to achieve and set goals for themselves, encourage themselves and others, and to persevere.
