About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. Emerson Academy Reviews
This school really challenges my children academically. They are learning so much. I couldn't ask for a better school. The teachers are great. They really care about the students. The administration is quick to address any problems or concerns I have had in the past. Overall it is a great school.
Love my school! Great administration and staff!
Need new teachers and new staff very disapointed with this school use to have a good principal was very nice now stupid ass man that laughs about stuff not funny if u ask me kind of off in my book
daughter dosent like it at all this year and will not be returning next year advice to other parents check on your children stay in touch with teachers cause a lot more fights bullies not a good school i made a bad choice.
and my daughter ... will be attending emerson again this year. this is her second year. she will be in the third grade. she loves going there and has made remarkable changes in her grades after going through the adjustment of a new school & surroundings.she is a straight A -B student i couldn't feel better about a school if she was goig to a private school that i would have to pay thousands of dollars to send her. she is a very focused and driven young lady. i know she wouldn't be where she is academically if it weren't for the teacher's & staff that work there. i'm so thankful now to not have to worry everyday when i drop my little girl off at school it is a real blessing to know she is safe & getting a good education. thank you fof your time stephanie wise 2010.
