Fernway Elementary School Reviews
I was at Fernway Elementary School ever since I was in Kindergarten. I thought it was okay at first, but when I got to first grade I think it was challenging for me alot. The classroom that I was in was very small, kids had to bring a snack for the whole class I think that was very unacceptable. The music teacher yells at the older kids like 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th graders. If you want to go to this school be my guest but this school has some poor education styles.
Our school is a great place to work and learn. People are friendly and helpful and the kids are interested in learning. Our parents are very supportive and go the extra mile for our students. Parents help with reading and math and are always available for extra projects and financial support when needed. All of us are a commumity that work together for the good of all students.
Fernway Elementary is a poor example of "upper class" education. The classrooms are too large to focus on individual children leaving teachers to hand over their "days work" to you the parent. I have no problem with continuing the education process when my child comes home, but if you could examine their math workbook you would never let your child return due to the easy and uncorrected assignments that come home at times. I have had enough of the games involving my child and their education. When the year is over I will be removing my child from Fernway immediately. If you like over crowded classrooms and poor teacher/student interaction Fernway Elementary is the perfect school for your child.
