About the OCCT
What is it?
The Oklahoma Core Curriculum Test (OCCT) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in reading and math in grades 3 through 8. In grade 8 students are also assessed in science, U.S. History, Constitution and Government, and writing.
How is it Scored?
Students are scored at one of four levels: unsatisfactory, limited knowledge, satisfactory, or advanced. The goal is for all students to score at either the satisfactory or advanced level.
