Southwest Christian Academy Reviews
Southwest Christian Academy has entered it's 20th year of quality education service to the Okc,Moore/Norman metroplex. Comparatively conservative, meeting the faith based community college prep needs is the focus of the school's mission. Pastors, teachers and professional workers from the work force find this "family enviornment' and close communication extremely effective for enhanced outcomes. Achievement scores have climbed to a minimum of 1 year advanced to national norms to 2 and even 3 years advanced in some other grades. Sophomores, juniors and seniors all tested 13 or post first year college.
Budget cuts this year in the Oklahoma independent public schools have required administrations to prepare for class sizes from 30+ students in most classes which otherwise forces a serious challenge upon classroom progress and increases the common diciploine issues beyond any since the 60's era.
Southwest Christian is purchasing equipment to meet this need and prides itself in an outstanding teaching staff. Their dedication and unity is the engine sited for such achievements. Only a few saff corrections have been required to positively improved the solidarity and overall success. Call 794-7000 for any available openings.
It is not a great school. It is over priced. It is dirty. The staff are abusive. They charge a book fee and your child doesnt even get a book, they get copies if their lucky. There is always sickness going around. The building leaks everytime it rains. They serve expired food. etc. So think twice before you put your child here...
