I went to douglass when I was in the 7th grade now I am a 10th grader at another school. Douglass skipped me up because I was one of the smartest students there. It is not really a bad school and they do teach the students up there. It's just some students don't pay attention at all in class. The teachers can't teach if there are students destracting them. They have some really great teachers up there who cares for the students. One class I was in their was always two students who got into it everyday. The teacher never suspended them, instead she tried her best to keep them in school and keep teaching them. She said she wrather have them in school learning, then at home not. It's not just the point the teacher has to be willing to teach, the students have to be willing to be quiet and learn.

Douglass High School
Douglass High School will be as good as the teachers, parents and the community. It takes everyone. It's easy to point the finger when 4 are pointing right back at us. The question is, what can you do to help? Douglass has and always will be a great school. The school is what we make it!

Douglass High School
I am a parent of two students of Douglas High School, and from what they tell me and what I see, they are not doing a very good job of teaching the students anything. What would you want to take for your first hour, How to be a thug, or How to learn the fastest way to get to jail. They really need to take the time to find out which kids are there to learn, and which are up there to make trouble, and get them out and keep them out.
