Holy Family Cathedral School Reviews
Average education with good teachers and safe enviroment
We have had some children attend local public schools and Holy Family. Comparing both, the results have been the same. The teachers and faculty at HFCS and public schools were great. We feel safer with children at HFCS although they are just as safe at the public schools. The negative is the overwhelming number of white students. Over 75%. It seems our kids that were in public schools are more advanced socially. They also are more well rounded and blend together better with children of other races. Also test scores of the public schools in our area similar to those At HFCS.
Mr Luetkemeyer has been a wonderful principal and will be missed. The elementary school has great and caring teachers. The middle school is another story with teachers that yell and bully students. In all my years associated with Catholic education I have never seen such teachers that did not practice there faith, of caring and being decent human beings.
This school offers the children a quality education with a religious atmosphere, always showing interest in the child first.
I have worked here for 20 years. I love the sense of community, the strong curriculum, dedicated teachers and the diversity.
This school is a great school. The sense of family over there helps you learn better. Trust is everywhere. The teachers help you learn more than what is needed. Mass on Fridays helps increase the sense of family. I proud to call my self a Holy Family graduate.
