I could not disagree more with the previous comments. The website states that this school "promotes each student's positive self image" Monte Cassino shelters their children and requires each student to be a cookie cutter version set to their own expectations. If in fact a student falls out of that mold then they will be introduced to the acclaimed Attuned program -- which is in itself a joke. Monte Cassino runs itself with a business priority -- meaning $$$ is the bottom line. They hire young inexpereinced teachers. It is because of this fact that they need the attuned program to begin with. A teacher with a wealth of expereince and knowledge would be able to successfully find a way to reach each and every one of his/her students. This school does not operate under true Catholic principles.

I have been a Monte parent for 3 years and am excited to continue for another 8 years. As the student reviewer mentioned all students 4th through 8th grade are issued laptop computers and they are an integral part of the curriculum and overall learning environment. Additionally, MCS has the BEST Schools Attuned program I have every heard of. If you aren't familiar with this concept, Google “Mel Levine”. The goal is of this program is to work to the strengths of every student. This doesn't mean ignoring their deficits, those are strenuously worked on, but it helps the student focus on their strengths and finds ways for those to improve the deficits. This school and it’s families are a loving community that I am grateful to be a member of.
