there are issues
curious why if the district average is 19 per full time teacher why my kindergartener had 33 kids in her class last year. Also, why only morning kindergarten and why on late start days due to weather they have "no morning kindergarten"... really irritating in December when the roads were icy to have 4 or 5 class days because no morning kindergarten the same month they sent home an "attendance is important" letter. Since the district has regularly scheduled late start days in which the kindergarteners attend there is a mechanism in place with transportation for these kids, why not just have the kindergarteners revert to the late start schedule. Also irritating is that they got a long term sub in the middle of the year which was disruptive to the progress. Not real impressed at this point. We will see how next year goes.
my grandson loves his teacher/ is wounderful person And they learning so much ever day. He doesnt want to miss Day of school. I have beem in the class ,The kids have so much fun !!!
We love Aumsville Elementary because our Parent-Teacher Club has lots of community activities for us to do as families. Also, our counselors really care about the kids and invest their lives in our students. We have GREAT teachers who put in extra time to help individual students -- and they even spend time going to the students' extra-curricular and sports activities. Our Lego-Robotics team won state awards, and we have tons of kids getting honor-roll grades and passing state benchmarks. This year our family had a schedule change with our 4th grader, and the school was very supportive and we appreciated it.
