About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. See Corbett Charter School's test results to learn more about school performance.
In 2011, Corbett Charter School had 26 students for every full-time equivalent teacher. The Oregon average is 20 students per full-time equivalent teacher.

Corbett Charter School Reviews
Rated no. 3 on Newsweek's America's Best Schools list, this small school existing alongside Corbett Public Schools. All k-12 grades are on the same campus with less than 900 students. Academics are the focus and AP classes are abundant for High schoolers. Students take a minimum of 5 AP classes and many take up to 10 or more. In 2011 over 50 students passed 3 or more AP exams. Sports exist and it is rare for a student to be cut from a team. If you want to play there's opportunity.
There's also opportunity to become part of Corbett Children's Theatre which operates out of the Corbett Schools. Great school with great opportunities.
