Grants Pass High School Reviews

To whom it may concern,

I am a retired person living in Grants Pass 4 years now. I was at the parade today and saw your banner. I cannot express how appalled, ashamed, embarrassed, and shocked I was to see our local high school promote sexual deviance on any level. This subject has no business being taught or promoted by our schools to our children, yes children, they are not yet adults and they do not belong to you. This topic is for parents to decide when and how it should be taught. Teaching the biology of sex is one thing but exploring personal beliefs of the individual is another. I do agree gay people are people too and deserve to be treated fairly; however this subject is just wrong for our schools to be teaching or promoting. Your policy should require students to keep their sexual beliefs outside the school system.  Can't you find anything more appropriate for you to teach our kids?
