About This School
Alternative schools are public schools that offer nontraditional education for students whose needs cannot be met in a regular, special education, or vocational school. While alternative schools are distinct from regular, special education, and vocational schools in their teaching approach or classroom environment, they can provide similar services and/or curriculum for students. Alternative schools include schools for potential dropouts, residential treatment centers for substance abuse, schools for chronic truants, and schools for students with behavioral problems. As a parent i have to say, that thanks to helensview my daughter was abke to attend and finish high school with two toung children..one a toddler and the other an infant..with the school support she has made it through at age 21 to finish and graduate high school...i truly am a proud parent and to say this is where she finished..i pray that in the future they will help even more students..
